Goodbye Jay Leno Tonight Show Host

Posted: 07 Feb 2014 02:59 AM PST

I can't begin to tell you how I felt about the final Jay Leno Tonight Show. Words can't describe how great it was.

The jokes, the songs, the guests were non stop. Laughter, joy, tears were only part of the feelings I had.

Some of the guests were, Billy Crystal, Oprah, Sheryl Crow, Kim Kardashian, Carol Burnett, Miley Cyrus, Martha Stewart and Jack Black each singing solo from the Goodbye song from The Sound of Music.

Garth Brooks sang The Dance which Jay requested him to sing, he also ended the show with Friends in Low Places as the audience sang along and Jay clapped.

Clips of stars told Jay what kind of job he should try out for now. Those stars included President Obama, Kevin Bacon, Jimmie Fallon, Jimmie Kimmel, Matt Damon along with a few other stars.

At the end of the show Leno, clearly crying, thanked the audience for their viewer ship. He thank all his employee whom he called family. He waved goodbye and said "I'm coming home honey" to his wife. He really couldn't stop crying as he continued his goodbye's.

I'm sure I'm leaving out more this show had, but it's really late and I can barely see. I hope you all watched or at least can watch it somehow. It was the best Tonight Show since Johnny Carson's farewell.

Farewell Jay. Have a great life!

HOT AIR BALLON INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL 2013

Posted: 07 Feb 2014 01:35 AM PST

Since 2002 LEON (GUANAJUATO), MEXICO is the location of the most important and bigger "HOT BALLON FESTIVAL" in LATINAMERICA.

In 2013; this festival got 200 hot ballons and nearly 2,000,000 people attended this event from all over the world.

Is good to know that the very first mexican that could be able to flight a "HOT BALLON" was borned in GUANAJUATO state.

The color, the lights and the emotion of the people is something great to live.

This is an excellent example that MEXICO is not only drugs, deaths and arms.

How do I touch that thing that we look at that gives off all that light and heat with the moving pictures? How do I pull that black thing from out in front of mommys face that flashes and makes my eyes hurt and see dots? When is mommy gonna change this squishy diaper and when do I get to lay down with mommy and have my lunch and nap? Where is daddy?

Baby I'm Thinking Of You

Posted: 06 Feb 2014 06:54 PM PST

For the assignment "What is your baby thinking".

I found several pictures that I can try to figure out what my baby was thinking when I took the picture. In order of the pictures above, he was thinking:

1. "This is so much more comfortable than my previous arrangement. (4 days old)

2. "I'm fat, full, tired and bored" (4 weeks old)

3. "pushups are harder than I thought, please Mom flip me over. (6 weeks old)

4. "Has anyone seen my teeth?" (6 weeks old)

5. "WTHeck is that?"

6. "This lady told me to go to sleep but she keeps flashing lights at me". (5 mo. old)

7. "I'm waiting". (6 mo. old) "Still waiting".

8. "Who dat?" (2 yrs old)

9. "Thanks for the memories Mom" (35 yrs old)

I added nine photos, I hope they come out in the correct order or this won't make any sense lol.

Future Olympian want-to-be! 2 year old skier hitting jumps in the kids' terrain park in Telluride

Posted: 06 Feb 2014 12:52 PM PST

My husband and I have lived in Telluride for 16 years. We began taking our son up on the hill when he was 15 months old, as it was a way to get out of the house and have something productive to do. Each time we took him on the magic carpet he got better, much to our surprise. More importantly, he loved it. The beginning of this ski season marked his second year, and within the first day he was pointing away from the magic carpet and towards the "real" bunny hill, so my husband decided to give it a try. He loved it and skied for nearly 3 hours that day. Ever since then he has asked to go skiing every single morning. Recently, he began following an older kid into the kids' terrain park and he immediately wanted to go over the jumps and small rails. Of course, his Dad let him...and once again, Taj somehow improved with every trip through the terrain park. He is able to turn in both directions and hit the small jumps and rails, but he has no interest in learning how to stop or slow down quite yet, so he still has to be on a harness when he's out cruising any of the steep sections of the mountain. Taj is now able to ski most green and some blue (beginner and some easy intermediate) runs, which allows him to enjoy the terrain that is offered from four different lifts in Telluride. He is obsessed with Gus Kenworthy, also a Telluride native who will be competing in the Olympics in Sochi. He's only 2 years and 4 months old, but Taj wants to follow in Gus' footsteps and as long as he's having fun and being safe we will support his dream!
